The Stereoscopic Society was founded in 1893 in the UK. Its membership is now around the world and has a long tradition of capturing the world stereoscopically in 3D using ready made cameras and self build equipment for over 120 years. Their interests lay across the full spectrum of activities from digitally produced Audiovisual shows to digital and film photography and making of traditional stereo cards and many other things. They hold regular meetings within the UK with projection of 3D shows and produce a full colour magazine four times a year.

David Burder is a source of all things 3D Stereoscopic. He is a living world of advice, articles and supplies – stereo viewers, glasses, cameras, projectors, etc. He is also the proprietor of a vast 3D image library of of late Victorian, and more modern, stereoscopic images.

David is also a gun for hire as a professional 3D photographer and artist, one of the very few working in traditional processes such as Daguerreotypes, Calotypes, and Wet Plate, and, his expertise extending to classic and modern stereo, he is the man most people seek out for such things as the conversion of original Victorian Stereoscopic images into modern processes.
